One Thursday noon, furious buffalo about to be slaughtered at a restaurant escaped and rampaged through the streets of Vietnam’s capital. It caused traffic into chaos and injured one man in the head and body.
The owner of the Loc Vung restaurant in Hanoi were trying to kill the animal and unfortunately it broke free of its tether and ran off down the road.
Policeman Nguyen Dang Hau was on duty at Chuong Duong Bridge and he saw a big buffalo all of a sudden. Hau ordered the owner to capture and kill the buffalo because of a thought that it’s dangerous for the curious people had been following the animal’s journey through the street.
The policeman and three other men including the owner of the buffalo spent 30 minutes capturing the animal. The owner killed the buffalo with a knife.
The injured man was taken to Viet Duc Hospital.
